Ethanol in North Dakota
North Dakota has two ethanol plants. Alchem Ltd. LLLP's plant in Grafton, N.D., produces ethanol from corn and has a 10.5 million gallon per year (MGY) capacity. The Archer Daniels Midland plant in Wallhalla, N.D., uses corn and barley to make ethanol, and has a 25 MGY capacity.
